Appointments
Please call to make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency. In off-hour times for Port City Animal Hospital, we suggest you take your pet to a 24 hour emergency care clinic location. The nearest clinic is the Animal Emergency & Trauma Hospital of Wilmington located at 50 Greenville Ave, Wilmington, NC 28403. They can be reached 7 days a week at (910) 790-1070.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian on duty Monday through Friday, 8am-11am & 2pm-5pm who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent needs your pet has. Emergencies can include, but are not limited to, poisoning, hit by car, and ingestion of non-food items. If you feel your pet needs emergency treatment, please call our office immediately! By calling before coming in, a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. We will work to 'squeeze' you in between scheduled appointments.

Port City Animal Hospital is housed in a handsome facility with all of the amenities of a modern practice. It has on-site equipment such as a digital x-ray machine and advanced blood and urine analyzers to better diagnose your pet
Payments
So that we can continue to provide you high quality service, payment must be made at the time of service. We do not offer payment plans.
Port City Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, American Express or Visa. We do not accept Discover. We gladly provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations in advance, so you can anticipate your charges.
